• 2010 Waivers!
Everyone must complete a new 2010 waiver before riding at any session. Waivers must be completed once per year. After you complete the waiver (legible and with complete information please), you do not need to complete it again.

Beginner/Intermediate Training Sessions
Every Saturday in January 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
These sessions are for riders who have completed at least three (3) Hellyer Saturday morning Beginner Sessions. Each session will focus on introducing riders to track workout sessions and track racing. Geared towards beginner and novice riders, but more experienced riders may ride to mentor and get track time.

What to bring: helmet, cycling shoes, pedals, pedal wrench, warm clothing, a snack, water, sunscreen. You will be required to fill out NCVA and Santa Clara Park County participation forms. If you have a track bike bring that also!

$5 to ride, $5 to rent a bike + $6 for County Park parking fee. Please enter the track respectfully if arriving late. Rain or wet track cancels. Questions or more information please contact the track supervisor: Steve Jones stevejones@stanford.edu

• Saturday Morning Beginner Training Sessions
Just a reminder about the Saturday Morning Beginner Session. The purpose of the Saturday morning sessions is to teach the basics of track riding. It is not a racing session or a serious training session. However, a minimal amount of fitness is necessary to complete some of the drills.

Gates open at 8:30 AM. Everyone must sign in for the session and pay track and rental bike fees, and complete the waiver if it's your first time at the track. Be there at 8:30 AM for best rental bike selection. The session will begin at 9:00 AM. No rentals after 9:00 AM. No one is allowed to ride until the session supervisor approves. All participants must be present at the beginning of the session.

Sunday Morning Intermediate/Advanced Training Sessions
Please note that Sunday morning intermediate/advanced sessions are not open sessions. You must have prior approval from the supervisor in charge (see calendar for contact information). If you show up without prior approval, you most likely will not get to ride. Also, Sunday mornings are not "open track". You should have a defined workout to do. The supervisor will send you the Intermediate/Advanced Etiquette info packet that should be reviewed upon approval. This protocol is for safety reasons. Thank you.
